Sutter Fairfield Diagnostic Center

Sutter Health has invested millions of dollars in new equipment and communications technologies that enable us to provide the sharpest, highest resolution images for the most accurate diagnoses. What’s more, scans are up to twice as fast and require lower dosages, making it safer and more comfortable for our patients.

Digital mammography is an innovative technology solution to the diagnostic and productivity limitations of conventional X-ray.

We understand that women not only have special health issues but also special needs when it comes to how their healthcare is provided. Our sensitivity to these special needs is expressed in the private, quiet atmosphere of our “women-centered” section with its own separate entrance and registration area as well as private dressing and waiting areas.

Sutter Fairfield Surgery Center

The broad range of services that are provided at the Sutter Fairfield Surgery Center are on an out-patient basis only. Its medical staff concentrates on providing the very best patient experience and the highest quality healthcare before and immediately following any procedure.

The Center is fully equipped to allow physicians to perform the most advanced and least invasive procedures using arthroscopy, laparoscopy and endoscopy. These surgical techniques result in less discomfort and much faster recovery times.

Caring for Patients

Patients will find our setting a pleasant place to have elective surgery with a warm and receptive staff of professionals with interpersonal skills and easy access to parking. An emphasis is placed on consistent communication with family and friends throughout the surgical event in an intimate and personalized environment.

This dedicated environment ensures that patients receive maximum attention and close monitoring by highly qualified nurses and an attentive staff throughout their surgery.

Family and friends are strongly encouraged to be involved during the pre-operative and post-operative recovery periods. The skilled nursing staff will take the time to educate both the patient and family on post-operative care and at-home recovery.

Post discharge, patients will be followed through a post-operative telephone call by our clinical staff to ensure their safe and satisfactory recovery and to answer any questions about their care at our facility.
